Dr. Jonathan Marsh
Dr. Jonathan Marsh believes the future of Alzheimer’s care will be shaped by prevention. In his talk, “Eradicating Alzheimer’s: Is it possible?”, he explores advances that could change Alzheimer’s from a disease of aging into a disease that can be prevented. From GLP-1 medications and monoclonal antibodies currently in use, to vaccines and new inhaled therapies now in development, these breakthroughs raise a striking possibility: that within a decade, Alzheimer’s may no longer define the future for millions. Rooted in preventive medicine, his message is clear: planning and acting today can help reduce personal risk and protect future generations.
For Dr. Marsh, this mission is deeply personal. Both of his maternal grandparents suffered from Alzheimer’s, giving him a firsthand understanding of its toll on patients and families. After training at Clemson University and earning his MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency, he moved to Naples in 2012 and became a serial entrepreneur in healthcare. He founded Naples Concierge Health to move beyond the constraints of traditional fee-for-service models, creating space for innovation, patient education, and preventive care. Today, he continues to lead Naples Concierge Health, guided by the belief that science and proactive care can help eradicate the world’s most feared diseases.
